When Sorrows Come, was the first novel in the My Lost Country series. The second - Driven Into Exile - tells the story of Natalya who is taken by the Nazis at sixteen to be a slave labourer, a servant to a German officer's family and a labourer in a munitions factory before being liberated by the Americans.This is the story her daughters always seem to have known until Natalya's death fifty years later when they discover their mother's secret...

I am currently working on the third novel of the series. It's a sequel to Driven Into Exile which follows the story on both sides of the Iron Curtain through the Cold War. It will link directly to where Driven Into Exile leaves off, but I'm not going to say much more yet this space!

A series of successful book fairs across the country; a radio interview on BBC Radio Nottingham and most recently winner of the Big Bingham Book Read.

Ten writers from New Writers UK donated 2 copies of our books to Bingham Library last May. Readers could take out the books and then score them. When Sorrows Come won!Stephen Booth, the crimewriter presented the trophy.
